Fry Reglet Architectural Metals has developed a new glazing system designed to dramatically reduce field labor and improve installation quality. This unique pre-engineered glazing system installs 20-25% faster than traditional methods, and guarantees straight, even interior glass installations and sightlines at window sills and ceilings.
The Fry Reglet system includes glazing retainer pieces that accommodate 2 ½" and 3 5/8" metal studs, and ½" or 5/8" drywall. Also included is a flush end cap for the sides of the window opening, and three unique profiles for capturing glass at the ceiling line: one for acoustical ceilings, one for drywall ceilings, and a transition profile for acoustical to drywall ceiling assemblies.
The ¾" glazing groove will accept a variety of thicknesses of glass, allowing the glazing system to function in full glazed, chair rail and clerestory glazing applications.
